Ace of Cakes

One of my favorite shows on the Food Network is Ace of Cakes. They film the staff of Charm City Cakes as they are designing extreme cakes. A lot of them don’t even look like cakes but more like works of art! Some of their techniques are really out of the box, and the staff seem like they have so much fun designing cakes!

Their Wrigley Field cake has so much detail!

They are located in Baltimore, which isn’t that far away. My dream would be for them to design my wedding cake, but I know we can’t afford it (and plus, is anyone going to have enough room for cake after the Chinese banquet?). They are also booked until Nov 2008 and have several weeks in 2009 blacked out already! Maybe I need to be thinking about what kind of cake I want!
